This auction is for a complete set of 8 stainless steel exhaust valves and 8 intake valves for big block Chevy engines. The exhaust have 1.725" head diameter, 5.352" stock length, and .3715" (3/8") stock diameter stems. The intake have 2.065" head diameter, 5.228" stock length, and .3715" (3/8") stock diameter stems. They are made by Elgin Industries and are brand new, first line product!

They will fit many of the 396, 402, 427, and 454 V8 engines with stock OEM cast iron cylinder heads and also some aftermarket heads like the ones from World Products, Dart Iron Eagle / Pro 1 and Pro Topline depending on the diameter and length you need for your application.

• One piece valve forged from high quality 21-4N stainless steel with hardened tip
• Chrome plated and undercut stem with swirl polished head for improved flow
• No oil seal groove in stem to weaken them like other valves

Elgin stainless steel valves are great for all hydraulic, solid, and hydraulic roller lifter cams with an installed valve spring pressure of 175 pounds or less and open spring pressures of 500 pounds or less and will make an affordable and reliable way to build a strong performance engine for your bb bbc Chevrolet daily cruiser, tow vehicle, street rod, circle dirt track, and drag strip performance racing engines.
